Beer Cocktail Time!

If you are looking for a way to change up your beer game here are some ideas that are sure to keep your refreshed all summer long! 

The Elvis

  • 3 oz. fresh pink grapefruit juice

  • 1½ oz. London dry gin

  • ¼ oz. St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)

  • India Pale Ale (for serving)

  • Grapefruit twist (for serving)

Recipe Preparation

  • Combine grapefruit juice, gin, and liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice and shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and top off with ale. Garnish with grapefruit twist.

Beergarita Slushies

  • 6 oz margarita mix

  • 4 oz tequila

  • 2 cups ice

  • 2 (12 oz) light beer

  • Lime wedges, for garnish

Salt for Rim

  • 3 tablespoons kosher salt

  • 1 lime, zest only


Recipe Preparation
  1. Add margarita mix, tequila, and ice to a blender and pulse until smooth.

  2. Combine lime zest and salt. Run a lime wedge around the rim of 2 large glasses, then dip them in the lime-salt mixture.

  3. Divide margarita slushie mixture between 2 cups. Top each with light beer and serve the rest of each beer on the side. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.

Shandy Beer Cocktail

  • 4 bottles pilsner beer

  • 4 lemons

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 handful mint leaves

  • 1/4 cup agave nectar

  • 6 oz vodka

Recipe Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients. Juice 3 of the lemons.

  2. Add the beer, lemon juice, ginger, vodka, and agave to the pitcher and mix well.

  3. Garnish with slices from the 4th lemon and the mint. Serve.
